This easy to operate and fully automated high-precision fiber cleaver can be used on a variety of large diameter fibers ranging from 230 to 1000 μm in diameter. The patented tension-and-scribe cleaving process produces consistent low-angle cleaves of less than 0.5 degrees with mirror-quality end-face finishes. A built-in microprocessor controls all vital parameters and settings, such as clamping, tension and the exact position and speed of the diamond blade, ensuring a high cleaving repeatability and accuracy.
